At Lighthouse Baptist Church in Seagrove, NC, our desire is to reach people with the Gospel of Jesus Christ and provide ministries that serve individuals and families throughout our community. Located between Asheboro and Seagrove, Lighthouse Baptist Church ministers to families throughout Randolph County and the surrounding communities.

 

Ministries for Every Stage of Life

God has given the local church a responsibility to reach people of all ages and backgrounds. That is why Lighthouse Baptist Church offers a variety of ministries designed to teach God’s Word, encourage families, and reach our community.

 

King’s Kids Children’s Ministry

Children are important to God, and they are important to us.

Our King’s Kids ministry is designed to give children an opportunity to learn about God’s love and hear the truth of the Bible in a way they can understand. Children participate in Bible lessons, singing, activities, crafts, special events, and a Wednesday evening service designed specifically for them. Lighthouse Baptist Church also provides transportation for children who need a ride to church. Our volunteer drivers and bus workers desire to provide a safe and welcoming environment while helping children learn about Jesus Christ.

We believe children need more than entertainment. They need the truth of God’s Word and godly adults who will invest in their lives.

H.O.P.E. Addictions Recovery Ministry

Addiction can affect individuals, marriages, families, and entire communities. At Lighthouse Baptist Church, we believe there is hope for those struggling with addiction.

Our H.O.P.E. ministry — Helping Others Put off Entanglements — is a Christ-centered addictions recovery program that meets every Tuesday evening. The goal of H.O.P.E. is not simply to help people manage addiction. It points people to the truth of God’s Word and the power of Jesus Christ to bring lasting change.  If you or someone you love is struggling with addiction, we want you to know that you are not without hope. Through God’s Word, people can find forgiveness, direction, and the help they need to begin making lasting changes.

 

Senior Saints Ministry

Our Senior Saints Ministry provides an opportunity to serve and encourage senior adults in our community. This ministry reaches into local nursing homes, giving residents an opportunity to hear the Gospel while also providing fellowship and encouragement. We believe every generation matters, and there is great value in investing time in senior adults.

Our desire is to be a light and a blessing to those who may otherwise feel forgotten or isolated.

 

Missions

The Great Commission is not limited to our local community. Lighthouse Baptist Church believes in reaching people with the Gospel both at home and around the world. Our mission’s ministry supports the work of missionaries who are taking the Gospel to communities and people groups around the world. We believe every Christian and every local church has a responsibility to participate in the Great Commission.
