There is a unique kind of excitement that fills the air when a dedicated church van pulls around the corner. For many in our community, that sound represents more than just a ride—it represents opportunity, community, and the love of Christ.
At Lighthouse Baptist, our Bus Ministry is one of our most cherished ways to serve. We believe that everyone should have the chance to hear the Gospel and experience fellowship, regardless of whether they have a reliable way to get here.
Helping Our Community Get to Church
Our mission is simple: We want to help you get to church. We specialize in providing safe, reliable transportation to and from church.
Every route is managed by Trained Bus Captains who have been background checked. These dedicated volunteers are committed to more than just driving; they are focused on timely, safe transport and building a welcoming environment from the moment you step up the stairs.
King’s Kids
The “King’s Kids” program is easily one of the most vibrant parts of life here at Lighthouse Baptist. When the bus arrives at the church, the journey is just beginning! Our young passengers are greeted by a staff of eager volunteers ready to help them transition into a Christ-centered environment. The purpose of King’s Kids is to share the incredible love of God through His Son, Jesus Christ.
What can a “King’s Kid” expect?
Bible Lessons: Truths from Scripture taught at a level they can understand and apply.
Exciting Activities: Singing, interactive crafts, and games that make learning about God fun.
Special Events: Throughout the year, we host unique activities to keep our youth engaged and excited.
Wednesday Night Provisions: Every Wednesday, we provide a meal, and a special mid-week service designed specifically for them.
While we would love to have your entire family join us for a service, we understand that schedules and circumstances vary. If you can’t make it this week, your children are always welcome on our bus! We treat every child who steps onto our vehicles as a precious gift. Our drivers and captains are volunteers who do this because they care deeply about the next generation and their spiritual journey.
